- You will provide evidence-based information and education to inpatient and outpatient breastfeeding mothers.
- You will provide comprehensive mother/baby feeding assessments and feeding plans using current and approved techniques and devices that safely support breastfeeding.
- You will collaborate with staff and providers to create a lactation feeding plan.
- You will provide education to staff and providers on current breastfeeding best practices.
- You will utilize evidenced based literature to drive lactation policies and best practice.
- (IBCLC) International Board Certified Lactation Consultant required
- (RN) Registered Nurse California License required
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
- Minimum 1 year related experience required
- 2 Year/Associate Degree in related field preferred. B.A. / B.S. preferred.
