They are currently seeking a CNC Threader Operator to join their team!1st Shift
$15.50 - $16/hr.Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate a CNC machine to thread ceramic cores and inspect product for defects in accordance with the standard operating procedure.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow documented job specific work instructions.
- Ability to learn how to operate the extruder, grinder, threader, and saw safely.
- Visually inspect the product while performing the operation and identify defects.
- Maintain the required process documentation and paperwork daily.
- Produce quality ceramic rods/cores; meeting production goals and quality requirements.
- Communicate any issues to your Lead Person and/or Supervisor and Engineering immediately.
- Keep all equipment and work area clean and organized.
- Communicate effectively with lead person, supervisor, and fellow operators.
- Assure proper completion of end of shift duties including production reporting, required TPM, and 6S activity.
- Know and follow all company safety rules and regulations.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Good communication skills and mechanical aptitude needed
- Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
- Willingness to cross-train in other company job functions is expected
- Excellent attendance & dependability a must
- Set-ups may be required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand entire 8-hour shift (plus overtime, when required)
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
