This position also verifies products and organizes the distribution of products. Maintains storage area. Provide reports to management of materials packing cost. This position is also a cross-function position and supports the RSS departmental needs.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unpack products.
  • Verify the quality and quantity of items against supporting documents.
  • Accept or return products according to established procedures.
  • Bag products with supporting information from customers and forward them to the logger to log in.
  • Pull reels from the prior day and prepare for shipping to customers. DC will ship the product logger to prepare reels.
  • When logging reels, identify Platinum reels and directly hand those reels to Platinum/Stella technicians.
  • Create a spreadsheet of reworks, report, and return reworks directly to the appropriate tech for review.
  • Create a Lost and Found area. Do extensive research and follow through.
  • Contact the consumer for credit card information.
  • Identify quick-fix reels and reel parts that are no longer available and return reels to customers with letters.
  • Maintain knowledge of current products to correctly identify new against old in order to adequately distinguish the correct logging procedures.
  • Stock boxes and packaging supplies for shipping.
  • Keep area 5S compliant and follow the guidelines of surrounding areas.
  • Learn to repair and diagnose reels whenever needed.
  • Perform additional duties when required.
Job Qualifications:
  • Shipping and receiving preferred.
  • Must have good communication skills in order to relay information to technicians and others in the department.
  • Must have strong attention to detail in order to maintain accuracy.
  • Have computer skills. AS400 knowledge preferred.
  • Knowledge of fishing products is a plus.
