
Cybersecurity Incident Manager (PSIRT)

- Lead and manage high-priority product security incidents across global teams.
- Coordinate response efforts with engineering, support, legal, and customer-facing teams.
- Act as the primary escalation point for leadership and external stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop a team of incident responders and analysts.
- Build and deliver product-specific threat awareness and training.
- Collaborate with vulnerability management and disclosure teams.
- Enhance incident response playbooks and tooling.
- Embed incident learnings into product development processes.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, cybersecurity, computer science, or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years in cybersecurity, with 5+ years in incident response.
- Proven leadership in managing security teams and complex incidents.
- Strong knowledge of incident response frameworks (NIST, ISO, MITRE ATT&CK).
- Experience with OT/ICS, connected devices, and cloud-integrated solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for executive and customer briefings.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
