- We are seeking an experienced Network Automation Consultant to assist with the development and implementation of automated solutions for our client's enterprise network.
- The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in networking, automation frameworks, and infrastructure as code.
- The consultant will work closely with network engineering & operations to streamline workflows, improve network reliability, and enable scalability through automation.
- Assess current network automation practices and recommend improvements.
- Design and implement automation workflows for network provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
- Integrate automation solutions with NetBox and EfficientIP (EIP) for IP address management and source-of-truth functions.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts, Ansible playbooks, and automation pipelines.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for consistent, repeatable, and version-controlled deployments.
- Document processes, frameworks, and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Networking: Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, LAN/WAN.
- Automation & Scripting:
- Proficiency in Python for automation.
- Proficiency with Ansible for configuration management.
- Proficiency with YAML, JSON, XML, and automation protocols (REST APIs, NETCONF, gNMI).
- Vendor Platforms: Experience with Cisco & Arista switches
- IaC & DevOps: Exposure to Jenkins, GitHub,etc , Terraform or equivalent IaC tools , and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitoring & Telemetry: Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, SNMP, or streaming telemetry solutions.
- IPAM Solutions: Hands-on experience with NetBox and EfficientIP (EIP), including integration into automation workflows.
