2. Setup machinery and materials according to job specifications. This may include preparing paper jumbos, recording label information, weighing materials, splicing, preparing test samples, mixing recipes, and performing changeovers,
3. Input required data into machine programmed controls to start operations and prepare set up validation sheet.
4. Start up equipment, monitor air flow, flow rates, pump speeds, oven pressures, hydrometer, saturation levels, pump speeds, temperature gauges and other machine controls for required settings. Adjust equipment as necessary to control product quality.
5. Monitor computerized equipment control screens to check material specifications in process and make equipment adjustments as needed.
6. Monitor material throughout all line processing operations, troubleshoot material or equipment problems, and take corrective action.
7. Perform quality checks to ensure product is being processed properly.
8. Log required data: enter data into control plan spreadsheets, make monitor tickets, prepare scrap reports, complete control plan logs, create test envelopes, document certificates, and complete beta gage error tracking spreadsheets.
9. Attend to resin room. Manually mix resin, fill trays, perform resin changes, clean tanks and trays, and handle waste drums. Perform tank farm pump operations.
10. Make suggestions for engineering changes.
11. Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties.
12. Notify Facilitator of unusual equipment or operating problems.Use forklift truck, tape measure, scale, personal computer, computer printer, micrometer, calipers, tape measure, hydraulic press, manual staking press and hand tools.Follow safety rules and keep the work area in a clean and orderly condition.
