- Actively engage and partner with marketing and lodging operations to drive overall revenue and establish successful revenue strategies, channel and partner programs, while engaging as an active collaborator with the Marketing, Sales and Operations leadership team.
- Spearhead total revenue optimization initiatives across ancillary streams, including working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to drive overall visitation to the portfolio of resorts.
- Oversee continuous improvement of sales and revenue management systems, tools, and processes that ensure accountability, transparency, and performance tracking at all levels; standardize systems, contracts, procedures and booking processes and reporting.
- Proactively review and interpret leading lodging indicators of visitation to our resorts, helping to provide valuable insights to improve forecasting and business planning.
- Accountability of the overall Sales function for all lines of the business, providing a clear vision and analysis of global sales trends, industry and business forecasting, risk assessments and development of key drivers.
- Define, establish, and continuously improve overall sales approach, benchmarks and expectations for the enterprise that will ensure growth of a healthy sales pipeline, focused funnel management, appropriate closure ratios, controlled sales cycles, and appropriate measuring of performance of the overall sales force.
- Lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide direct sales and wholesale channel strategies, based on the above analysis, for developing business and achieving the Company's sales goals.
- Lead teams with forward-thinking business acumen in support of enterprise resort and line of business strategic priorities, fostering collaboration and alignment in pricing, distribution, and direct/indirect sales strategies.
- Mentor, coach and counsel direct reports on overall performance and provide guidance and recommendations to develop leaders and teams in line with company talent philosophies while establishing clear succession planning for long-term enterprise-wide success.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, management and organizational skills with a proven track record of driving revenue and growth.
- 12+ years progressive experience in Sales and Revenue Management related roles; 8+ years of supervisory experience
- Experience with centralized corporate functions and a matrixed environment
- Strong learning agility. Enjoys and excels in environments where he/she must tackle and solve new and increasingly complex strategic business challenges and issues - incorporating the newest ideas, technologies, and approaches to business.
- Understanding of Distribution platforms and how Property Management systems, Revenue Management systems, call center and distribution platforms interface in hotel/vacation rental environments
- Computer skills: Delphi, Salesforce.com, MS Office
