Our exceptional team is composed of highly experienced individuals with a comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of architecture and civil engineering.What's your day like?As the Revit Manager at Ackerman Estvold Engineering and Consulting, you will be instrumental in developing, managing, and enforcing Revit standards, templates, families, and protocols to ensure consistency and quality throughout all architectural projects. You will lead the development and coordination of Revit models from concept through construction documents, collaborating closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and designers to meet project goals and client standards. Serving as a Revit expert and technical resource, you will provide essential guidance, troubleshooting, and training to team members.Your role will involve collaborating with internal IT and design leadership to align Revit workflows with our company-wide digital design strategy, as well as supporting the integration of Revit with platforms like Civil 3D and Bluebeam for effective cross-discipline coordination. Participation in project QA/QC checks will help maintain model accuracy and completeness, while your commitment to staying current with industry trends will drive design innovation and productivity within our firm.Does this sound like you?To thrive as a Revit Manager at Ackerman Estvold Engineering and Consulting, candidates must possess a strong educational background, ideally with an Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Design Technology, Architecture, or a related Engineering field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Revit-based design production, including at least 2 years in a lead or mentoring capacity, is essential. Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in Revit, with a solid understanding of model management, families, templates, and work-sharing.Familiarity with BIM 360, AutoCAD, and other relevant AEC tools is preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills are crucial, along with the ability to effectively encourage and train team members both in-person and via web conference.
