- Facilitates the use of various types of custom software by employees of the county and the general public;
- Researches and reviews the capabilities of custom computer software programs to determine if the programs are can be used by various divisions/departments of the county;
- Studies and understands work flows of various divisions/departments of the county to determine if they can be automated using various types of custom computer software systems by interviewing key personnel and developing narratives, detailed guidelines and flow charts of existing and proposed work flows;
- Develops proposals for the integration of work flows by meeting with key personnel, recommending adoption of new and revised procedures; reviewing any required changes, and developing consensus;
- Tests new work flows and computer applications to insure the completeness and integrity of the information processed and the soundness of the procedures utilized;
- Develops reports to monitor operations and provide a means of extracting data and information;
- Creates manuals to assist and train users, evaluate employee and system performance;
- Troubleshoots new work flow procedures and computer systems to identify, locate, and resolve problems and concerns;
- Provides ongoing support and responds to maintenance concerns.
