Job Title: Injectable TechnicianMultiple Shifts availableStarting Pay rate: $18.50 (shift diff available)Purpose & Scope
The Injectable Technician supports the manufacturing department with a specialized focus on injectable products. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that high-quality pharmaceutical products are produced in compliance with regulatory standards, ultimately safeguarding the health and well-being of our patients.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate in a cleanroom environment, adhering to strict gowning protocols.
  • Assist in the setup and operation of labeling equipment for pre-filled syringes and/or vials, including machinery in sterile support areas.
  • Support the setup and operation of semi-automatic packaging equipment for injectable products.
  • Perform in-process sampling, testing, and inspection on packaging lines to ensure product quality.
  • Conduct routine cleaning and environmental monitoring of production rooms to maintain GMP-compliant conditions.
  • Perform setup, execution, and cleanup of needle-cleaning processes.
  • Verify that all products meet approved specifications before release.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and accurately complete production records with a focus on “Right the First Time” execution.
  • Participate in annual hazardous waste training, and safely manage hazardous materials in accordance with procedures. This may include waste generation, container/tank inspections, and responding to chemical spills.
  • Perform additional duties and cross-functional tasks as assigned to support manufacturing operations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Basic understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a cross-functional team.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and documentation systems.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow SOPs, production records, and batch documentation.
  • Basic math and writing skills necessary for accurate record-keeping and reporting.
  • High attention to detail, particularly in written documentation.
  • Comfortable working on a fast-paced manual assembly line and operating basic production machinery.
  • Manual dexterity for precise assembly tasks.
  • Physical ability to:
  • Stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
  • Lift up to 40 lbs
  • Perform overhead tasks as needed

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or regulated production environment preferred but not required.
  • Must pass a basic skills assessment.
Working Conditions
  • Position requires shift work in a cleanroom manufacturing setting.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice.
