Head of Business Development & Market Strategy – Solar PV

- This role will partner with the Head of NA region in spearheading North America market strategy: including marketing implementation, pricing strategy, competitive analysis, due diligence, and project development/deal tracking activities.
- Formulate regional annual marketing promotion strategy, plan and budget. This person will be the regional point person for HQ’s strategic projects.
- Reinforce company brand and product messaging in solar conferences, with branding and speaking opportunities; Present company profile and product in local roadshows, forums and customer’s events.
- Working with Product Marketing Team to adapt product presentations and content relevant to the Utility segment.
- He/she will provide constant guidance to the sales team in terms of deal conversation metrics and other benchmarking activities as compared with other modules suppliers.
- Perform additional assignments as requested.
- Ability to create instant credibility, generate interest, and articulate/quantify the value proposition.
- Personally able to write effective marketing communications.
- Proven leadership abilities
- Familiarity with public policy for a non-US company
- Ability to analyze a mosaic of information and make strategic recommendations to management.
- Professional, confident, dependable, honest, and energetic.
- Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, thorough, and customer-oriented.
- Bachelor’s degree or above, or equivalent level of training and experience.
- Strong marketing and supervisory experience, preferably in the solar PV industry.
- Knowledge of marketing principles, in particular with B2B Marketing.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, in English.
- Experienced in PV module product promotion preferred, familiar with product process, characteristics, and system application.
- Experience in public speaking and presentations.
- Must be able to effectively prioritize multiple key project efforts.
- Demonstrated computer skills including all MS Office applications.
