If you are interested in contributing to the largest Youth focused non-profit in the country, please read on!Assistant Teacher Salary: $15.50 - 17.00 per hourAssistant Teacher Hours: 1:00pm to 5:00pm (3 days per week) AND Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00am-11:30amAssistant Teacher Responsibilities:
Cultivating and fostering a safe and nurturing environment that will encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in the program
Leading age appropriate activities
Utilizing state and YMCA guidelines to ensure the safety and well being of the children
Assistant Teacher Qualifications:
Have 2+ years of experience working with children - this can be professional, volunteer, or familial (babysitting, etc)
High school graduate. College credits in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
At least 18 years of age
Can be trained in First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training provided)
