The RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented technical professional who thrives on consistency and systematic
improvement — someone who will ensure every client environment meets Hansen Gress standards and
maintains proper alignment with our proven methodologies.This person owns the ongoing maintenance of our technical standards across all client environments,
ensuring configuration consistency, documentation accuracy, and continuous improvement of our
delivery model.What You'll Actually DoTechnical Alignment Reviews:
  • Conduct scheduled reviews of client environments against HG's documented standards library.
  • Audit key systems including infrastructure, security, backups, patch compliance, and MFA implementation.
  • Identify configuration drift, naming inconsistencies, and cybersecurity posture gaps.
  • Schedule and execute recurring site visits (remote or on-site) to verify standards adherence.
Documentation & Risk Management:
  • Maintain client documentation in IT management systems (network diagrams, warranties, licensing)
  • Document misalignments with technical risk assessment and remediation recommendations.
  • Keep configuration data current to support efficient service delivery and alignment tracking.
  • Contribute technical input to client technology roadmaps and strategic planning.
Coordination & Reporting:
  • Collaborate with Service Desk and Projects teams to address identified misalignments through tickets and tasks.
  • Work with vCIO team to incorporate findings into Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Present alignment results to internal teams and assist in client communications.
  • Track and report on alignment metrics, compliance status, and improvement trends.

Who You Are
  • 1-2 years of experience in MSP or enterprise IT environments.
  • Strong attention to detail with systematic approach to technical consistency.
  • Experience with network administration, system configuration, and documentation tools.
  • Comfortable working with RMM platforms, PSA tools, and configuration management systems.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to identify patterns and systemic issues.
  • Excellent documentation skills and process-oriented thinking.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently on systematic improvements.
Where You’ll Work
  • Ideally based in Anchorage or Juneau. Relocation assistance is available.
  • Remote work flexibility within Alaska.
  • This role requires regular face-to-face collaboration with both locations.
  • This is NOT a fully remote position.
