Related Management Company is looking for an ambitious Assistant Property Manager to bring these qualities to life at 700 Broadway, our architecturally striking lease-up located in Santa Monica—where sculptural design, expansive green spaces, and a rooftop pool set a new standard for elevated coastal living.What You'll Be Doing
  • Handles daily financial operations by collecting and recording rent, fees, and other payments; preparing and depositing funds; reconciling bank statements; generating financial summaries; and processing invoices and payables.
  • Utilizes property management software (Yardi) to accurately complete transactions, maintain data integrity, and perform necessary updates and backups.
  • Audits resident accounts to identify overdue or outstanding charges, communicates with residents to resolve delinquencies, and enforces lease terms to optimize income.
  • Manages vendor and contractor payments by verifying services or goods received, obtaining approval from the community manager, accurately coding invoices, and facilitating communication among vendors, accounting, and ownership as needed.
  • Carries out eviction procedures in line with company policy by serving proper notices, coordinating legal actions, and representing the property in court when necessary.
  • Processes move-outs by reviewing lease agreements, applying any applicable charges, and finalizing deposit dispositions in accordance with company policies and legal standards.
  • Supports resident satisfaction and retention through prompt, professional responses to inquiries, concerns, and service requests, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Assumes community leadership responsibilities in the absence of the manager by organizing daily operations, coordinating with maintenance teams, and upholding company procedures and business standards.
  • Assists with client and owner relations by providing performance updates, conducting property tours, addressing inquiries, and fulfilling ownership requests as needed.
Compensation
  • $70000 - $75000 / yearly
  • with an annual bonus that is tied to performance

  • You have prior experience as an Assistant General Manager in property management, hospitality, or a related field.

  • You are a technology enthusiast proficient in leveraging technology tools and platforms including Microsoft Office, calendar management, our internal applicant database software (Yardi) and social media seamlessly.

  • You have the ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
