The Maintenance Helper is responsible for supporting daily maintenance operations by fabricating components, performing routine upkeep, and assisting with equipment maintenance tasks. This role includes using basic hand tools, operating power tools, and measuring devices while ensuring housekeeping, organization, and safety standards are consistently met. Second Shift: 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM, overtime when needed
Third Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM, overtime when neededEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Fabricate stands, tables, jigs, and similar items using basic hand tools and standard techniques.
-Measure accurately in inches and millimeters using tape measures or scales.
-Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to support equipment longevity.
-Maintain a clean and organized work area, including storage and operation zones.
-Operate maintenance equipment such as drills, grinders, and saws.
-Support production processes by assisting with routine maintenance and tasks.
-Follow all safety protocols and demonstrate strong awareness of workplace hazards.
-Collaborate effectively as a team member in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Job Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and equipment.
-Must have basic computer skills.Benefits:
