About this roleWe're looking for a seasoned storyteller to sit alongside Udemates and co-create how internal communications show up: clear, timely, and grounded in what employees want to hear.As Manager of Internal Communications, you'll be the operational engine behind how we communicate across the company. You'll draft updates, prep speakers, manage timelines, and ensure every message reflects who we are and where we're headed. Working closely with the Director of Internal Comms, you'll help turn strategy into clarity and conversation into connection.What you'll be doingThis is a rare chance to help shape the voice of a global company in transformation.   • Be the execution engine - drafting company-wide messages, prepping leaders, managing timelines, and ensuring every communication lands with impact.
  • Bring our values to life by embedding our new principles and operating norms into everyday moments, turning behavior change into habit.
  • Rethink how information flows, helping lead a phased revamp of our internal channels and systems so Udemates can easily access what they need, when they need it.

What you'll have
  • 5-7 years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or related roles in fast-paced, high-growth, or transformational environments is required.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing people communications across the full employee journey, including benefits, performance, change enablement, onboarding, and listening/feedback loops
  • Proven ability to represent the employee voice and create messaging that resonates globally, drives engagement, and builds trust.
  • Experience reinforcing company values and behavior change through day-to-day messaging, especially during periods of transformation.
  • AI fluency or curiosity: you're exploring or already using generative AI tools to accelerate workflows and content creation
  • Experience in L&D, HR, or employee experience functions is a plus, primarily if you've supported the communication of learning, values, or behavioral initiatives. Strong analytical instinctsyou know how to use feedback and data to make communications more effective
