- Operate automated battery packaging equipment efficiently to meet productivity expectations
- Perform quality checks to ensure packaged goods are up to Energizer standards and record data as required
- Work in SAP to follow production schedule and plan future materials needed for change overs.
- Be a self-starter - demonstrate initiative to identify and apply solutions to remove roadblocks
- Demonstrate ownership and willingness to continuously improve self and area of accountability
- Make equipment adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and good housekeeping of work areas
- Follow all safety standards at all times
- Recognize continuous improvement and 5S opportunities to processes and work environment to improve safety, quality, and productivity
- Analyze and correct productivity and quality problems including minor adjustments to the machinery by observing the machine in operation and doing and/or recommending corrective action.
- Assess and resolve process problems associated with equipment.
- Suggests improvements in work methods and procedures to reduce costs and waste.
- Develop training and safety documentation on any new equipment.
- Monitors equipment operation following a preset procedure to determine the cause of a problem or malfunction.
- Performs PM on assigned equipment.
- Troubleshoots work-related problems
- Analyzes preventive maintenance effectiveness and cleaning standards.

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of production/manufacturing operations experience.
- Must meet WorkKey Testing requirements.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job including but not limited to lifting, walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs and ladders.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills and abilities.
- Must have general understanding of mechanical systems, capacity to learn, retain, & demonstrate technical knowledge, & demonstrates proficient use of tools.
- Ability work in a team environment as well as work independently.
- Requires lifting 25 lbs.
