
Utilities Technician - 3rd Shift

- Maintain equipment in compliant state by ensuring that documentation and audit trail is kept intact and required maintenance is performed. Responsible for equipment rounds and documentation of critical operating parameters.
- Execute preventative maintenance (PM) instructions based on maintenance schedules.
- Disassemble equipment to remove parts and make repairs. Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear. Repair and replace broken and malfunctioning components.
- Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs. Operate newly repaired and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs. Document the work, parts and materials used to comply with SOPs and Quality requirements.
- Study blueprints and manufacturers’ manuals to determine correct installation and operation of machinery.
- Participate in the planning, installation, and improvement of equipment.
- Responsible for writing and performing of technical procedures, change controls, and keeping drawings and schematics up to date.
- Support and meet departmental, plant, and corporate EHS goals. Work in a safe and efficient manner.
- High School Degree and Three years of Facilities/Utilities equipment maintenance.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to repair and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic electrical repairs like sensor replacements, electrical connections, motor wiring and others.
- Demonstrated skill in interpreting and applying specifications, blueprints, engineering
- Demonstrated knowledge of safety compliance.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Preferred knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) including validation issues and change control processes
