For one of our ongoing Long Term, Multi-Year project out of the Chicago-land area, we are looking for a Data Architect Strong in GCP, Data Architecture, Snowflake and Data vault.Key Responsibilities:
Design and lead implementation of scalable and secure data platforms, including data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time pipelines.
Define data standards, best practices, and architecture artifacts (data models, lineage, catalogs).
Guide modernization initiatives, such as cloud data migration, data integration, and platform optimization.
Lead the implementation of Master Data Management (MDM), metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security, privacy, and governance standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in data architecture and enterprise-level data strategy.
Proficiency with data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical), data warehousing, and distributed data systems.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), big data technologies, and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend).
Deep knowledge of databases like Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, or BigQuery.
Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation) and data cataloging solutions.
Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and scripting in SQL or Python.
