In this role, you will lead a team of business partners to deliver a full spectrum of both strategic and tactical People support and programs for these client groups. From educating clients on compensation practices and the performance management process to advising on organizational design, Culture development and numerous leadership & management challenges. Travel will be required approximately 30% of the time.Responsibilities
  • Partner and provide PBP support to a business unit as well as lead a team of PBPs who support multiple lines of business
  • Influence Site Leader on decisions that impact the site
  • Drive site engagement in partnership with key partners and site leadership through ongoing communication, development opportunities, education, I&D, DNA and community involvement.
  • Collaborate with site leadership team and Global Security to establish best practices for business continuity in crisis situations and efficient decision making for local challenges.
  • Partner and influence effective communication across the site in partnership with Corporate Communications and other key partners. (i.e. site growth/construction, business reductions, demonstrations, site emergencies, etc.)
  • Organize and lead critical discussions with site leadership to raise awareness to local challenges and initiatives impacting the site and employee population.
  • Collaborate with site service teams to help enable a One Apple employee experience. (i.e.- Wellness, Security, RE&D and Caffe', AU etc)
  • Provide support for campus expansion efforts, space planning, executive visits, compliance, government affairs, required regulatory reporting, politics and local nuances.
  • Participate in projects to support the site or lines of business
  • May support more than one site location
Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years experience in a HR management, generalist, specialist in Employee and/or Labor Relations and/or business partnering role
  • Proven Track record of leading a team of People Business Partners
  • Requires a BA/BS
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advance degree in Org Development or similar, Specialization in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Employment Law
  • Experience with both exempt and non-exempt (hourly) workforce populations
  • Conversational Spanish skills a plus
  • Legal background or JD a plus
Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $164,400 and $247,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
