- Provide technical leadership in supporting the OU core business and initiative delivery.
- Act as a key enabler in leading and delivering results against challenges.
- Be an integral part of executing projects for the category by leveraging new advanced controls, robotics, information systems and Cyber Security technologies
- Design, Develop and Implement global control system and best practices for platform managed Molding, Assembly and Packing equipment across Gillette’s global manufacturing sites.
- Lead and Verify equipment designs and installations to meet global regulatory requirements throughout all phases of a project, including but not limited to OSHA, NFPA, NEC, CE, UL, and other regional-specific standards.
- Lead documentation and version management of electrical schematics, programming, risk assessments and safety validation plans for relevant equipment, ensuring compliance with P&G/Gillette and global standards.
- Develop and troubleshoot controls system architecture via Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI), robotic systems, vision systems, and other industrial control devices.
- Identify and implement opportunities for control system standardization and modularization to reduce complexity and increase efficiency in global deployments.
- Support obsolescence management by updating existing control systems as needed, considering long-term global availability of components and working with both respective OEM/Vendors and our manufacturing sites to enable obsolescence plans.
- Develop and implement strategies for remote diagnostics and support of control systems on globally deployed equipment.
- Contribute to the development of training materials and programs for local maintenance and engineering teams at global sites.
- Participate in platform meetings to align project objectives and progress with cross-functional teams, including mechanical design, process engineering, and manufacturing operations across different regions.
- Expectation of hybrid work, primarily onsite 3 days a week, with daily onsite presence during equipment builds, troubleshooting and validations runs.
- Travel may be required up to 25% (or higher during peak periods) for vendor acceptance testing (VAT), equipment installation, commissioning, and support at global manufacturing sites.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field required
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
