Bring your talent to the Mission Critical Networks team as we create and improve applications to enhance device usage and integration with the larger portfolio of Motorola products. The software developer will be a member of a team working on applications for customers utilizing voice and data. The position is available with our team in Schaumburg or Chicago.Job DescriptionWe are seeking smart, self-motivated software engineers to help us design and deliver our current and next-generation solutions. To be successful in this role you must value teamwork and communication as well as working closely with other engineers in small, dynamic, Agile teams.
  • Design, and develop application software (C, C++) as part of a DevOps team that utilize on-prem technologies (ESXi, KVM, RHEL)
  • Creation of embedded Real-Time applications
Experience developing applications for use in or with land mobile radio systems and solutions is a plus.Basic Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Must graduate on or after December 2026.
  • Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident or be an MS student with work authorization (F1 Visa on CPT accepted only for masters-level students).
