Senior Controls Project Manager/Engineer

- Design complex instrumentation, PLC systems, communication networks, and plant SCADA systems required for a project.
- Create P&ID drawings, panel drawings, loop drawings, O&M manuals, etc.
- Fully design, document, build, integrate, startup and complete a complex plant automation design.
- Collaborate with clients to define project requirements and develop project plans.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships as well as be a team player with members of the ITAC team.
- Manage and lead a team of engineers and technicians in the design, implementation, and commissioning of control systems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including subcontractors and suppliers.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of project deliverables.
- Travel throughout the United States is required, approximately 10% of the year.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in municipal (water / wastewater) automation projects including design, and project management skills from project conception to completion is preferred.
- Experience with Biogas and Filter Membrane process is a plus.
- Must have extensive knowledge and experience in water and wastewater plant processes.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex control systems projects from concept to completion.
- Strong knowledge of control system design principles and practices.
- Experience with process automation and SCADA systems.
- Experience in programming PLCs, such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Schneider Electric, is a plus.
- Experience with HMI graphic screen development is a plus.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
