We partner with our Nurses at Medical City Las Colinas!Job Summary and QualificationsPrepares and assist in cardiac catheterizations, as well as vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures (including various radiology procedures). Perform emergency procedures associated with catheterization procedure – to include but not limited to IAB and temporary pacer insertion. Follow established standards and practices under the direction of a credentialed invasive cardiologist, or credentialed interventional radiologist.What you will do in this role:
  • You will assist with all diagnostic/interventional procedures and specials labs as scrubber, panner (no cine) and monitor person
  • Operates equipment
  • Prepares patients for examination
  • Documents appropriate information
  • Interacts with patients and physicians and performs related duties as assigned
What qualifications you will need:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • High School Graduate / GED
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, or Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist
