  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
  • Preferred: MA/CNA or equivalent experience.

  • Assists physicians with a variety of procedures. Performs safe positioning and equipment operation. Performs sterile techniques. Anticipates the needs of the physician and room turnover.
  • Assists in providing direct patient care within the scope of practice. Responds to problems and questions. Practices the principals of safety and infection control.
  • Cross-trains to other areas as requested. Assists with cleaning and maintaining equipment. Maintains appropriate levels of supplies and equipment in rooms.
  • Provides clerical functions to assist with coordination of patient care.
