Adecco is currently assisting the Mayfield Youth Development Center in their search to fill a Cook position Mayfield, KY. This is a long-term possible temp to hire opportunity. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing items for clients to enjoy. Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!Schedule will require full flexibility, weekends will be included. Pay will be $16.43 an hr.Responsibilities for this Cook position include:1. Prepares food items using standardized recipes in a timely manner2. Determines food and supplies needed and coordinate meal production with serving hours3. Prepares all special dietary need as directed4. Monitors all food items to see that at least the minimum guidelines for temperature, taste, and quality are always upheld5. Ensures the proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods as indicated by standardized recipes6. Tastes and prepares food to determine quality7. Maintains or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards8. Assists with orientation and training of new kitchen employees9. Practices all safety and loss prevention procedures10. Attends all in-services as required11. Follows all local, state, and federal policies regarding food handling12. Assists with proper documentation of temperature logs, taste panel forms, and cleaning schedules13. Other duties as assigned by the SupervisorQualifications:1. High school diploma or equivalent2. Flexibility with work schedule, weekends may be included3. Ability to work alone and in teams4. Successful completion of recognized food safety course preferred5. Excellent attendance record6.
