  • Maintain Massachusetts Journeyman electrician’s license.
  • Perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance on electrical and related equipment.
  • Complete work orders, installations and projects as assigned.
  • Assist Millwrights/Mechanics with mechanical Preventive and Corrective Maintenance.
  • Calibrate, repair, and keep in good working order the instrumentation equipment.
  • Assist with maintenance of the spare parts inventory.
  • Participate in the day-to-day compliance with Food Safety, 5S and Pre-requisite programs.
  • Maintain a clean work area.
  • Utilize computer for communication, calibrations records and work order details.
  • Troubleshooting PLC program logic and industrial motor drive systems. (Will train as needed)
  • All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS / JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • 4 years' as an apprentice and at least 1 as a journeyman.
  • Industrial electrical experience with web-based machines recommended. Able to work independently and/or as part of a team, effectively communicate, get along with others, have a positive attitude and be well organized. Have basic computer knowledge. PLC ladder logic programming and or Drive systems a plus. Coverage for other team members vacation/days off.
EDUCATION:
  • Current Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician’s License.
  • High School Diploma or GED
Earning potential of $115,000+/Year:
  • Wages start at $40/hour
  • 4 on 4 off rotating schedule
  • 8 hours of guaranteed overtime
  • Shift differential
  • Time and a half on Saturdays
  • DOUBLE time on Sundays and Holidays
