Technician - Electrical - Journeyman - Nights

- Maintain Massachusetts Journeyman electrician’s license.
- Perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance on electrical and related equipment.
- Complete work orders, installations and projects as assigned.
- Assist Millwrights/Mechanics with mechanical Preventive and Corrective Maintenance.
- Calibrate, repair, and keep in good working order the instrumentation equipment.
- Assist with maintenance of the spare parts inventory.
- Participate in the day-to-day compliance with Food Safety, 5S and Pre-requisite programs.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Utilize computer for communication, calibrations records and work order details.
- Troubleshooting PLC program logic and industrial motor drive systems. (Will train as needed)
- All other duties as assigned
- 4 years' as an apprentice and at least 1 as a journeyman.
- Industrial electrical experience with web-based machines recommended. Able to work independently and/or as part of a team, effectively communicate, get along with others, have a positive attitude and be well organized. Have basic computer knowledge. PLC ladder logic programming and or Drive systems a plus. Coverage for other team members vacation/days off.
- Current Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician’s License.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Wages start at $40/hour
- 4 on 4 off rotating schedule
- 8 hours of guaranteed overtime
- Shift differential
- Time and a half on Saturdays
- DOUBLE time on Sundays and Holidays
