
Industrial Electrician

- Perform routine electrical/electronic preventative maintenance on mill equipment
- Perform tasks like wiring circuits, replacing components and repairing electronic devices
- Work with vendors to identify needed parts and recommend to Supervisor
- Understand and update instrumentation loop diagrams, E & I drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Program AC & DC variable speed drivers
- Update power distribution system, MCC and switch gears
- Install electrical equipment
- Achieve production goals with the highest regard and adherence to employee safety
- Effective evaluation and continuous improvement of maintenance
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
- Lock out/Tag out procedures
- Field Level Hazard Risk Assessments (FLHRA)
- Electrical circuitry and components including circuit breakers, motors and controllers, control devices, motor theory, rigging precision alignments
- Predictive and Preventive maintenance
- Computer and PLC skills
- Ability to communicate well-oral and written
- Ability to function independently

- Scanning and Optimization systems within the Lumber Business (Porter, USNR)
