With a customer-first mindset, we make doing business with McCain easy.About the role.The General Production Worker position is primarily responsible for sorting and separating the onion rings as they come out of the auger following the standard operating procedures.1st shift hours are Monday- Friday, 7 am- 3 pm.What you’ll be doing.Essential Duties:
  • Separate and sort raw onion rings to specification.
  • Follow the separator Job Safety Analysis and all other safety policies and procedures.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and all quality policies and procedures.
  • Pick carbon from finished product.
  • Under limited supervision, performs any of a variety of cleaning and sanitation work in areas of the plant following established sanitation standards, procedures and practices.
What you’ll need to be successful.
  • 2 + years production or general manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate in Basic English and interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per shift and lift up to 60 pounds for sanitation.
Physical Demand.Constant: use and movement of hands, forward head/neck flexion, and standing on regularly scheduled shift.Frequently: Grasping of hands, pushing with thumbs and fingers, and reaching for 8 hours daily.Occasionally: Walking, bending at the waist, squatting, kneeling, and twisting at the neck and waist.Benefits of the role.Our benefits kick in DAY 1!
