- The potential dates for interviews with the supervisor and appointing authority will be the week of September 15, 2025.
- The potential employee start date is October 15, 2025.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Administration, Sport Management, Higher Education, Exercise Science, Facility Administration, Public Administration, Physical Education, Business Administration, or related field is required.
- Must have professional experience in the following areas:
- Administration, implementation, and evaluation of facility and/or guest service operations.
- Event management, including facility scheduling, risk mitigation, and operational execution.
- Hiring, supervising, advising, training, and evaluating employees and/or interns in facility or guest service settings.
- Certification in CPR with AED, Standard First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens/Universal Precautions, as well as Campus Security Authority (CSA) training, required within 90 days of hire.
- Master’s Degree in a related field to the work is preferred.
- Highly qualified applicants will have demonstrated professional experience in the following areas:
- Budget development, financial reporting, and resource management.
- Contracting, procurement, and insurance processes.
- Use of online data, rental, and scheduling management systems (e.g., Fusion) to support facility operations.
- Coordinating facility rentals, including communication with rental stakeholders, managing billing processes, and ensuring smooth scheduling and space usage.
- Certification as an instructor with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association is preferred.
- Active professional involvement with organizations such as NIRSA, NRPA, NASPA, ACPA, or related associations is preferred.
