Are you passionate about helping your community?We Need Your HELPWe are looking for on-site contractor interpreters to join our team of talented interpreters to cover Charlotte and surrounding areas in the following languages:
  • Spanish
  • Dari
  • Twi
  • Haitian Creole
  • American Sign Language (ASL)
To cover the following cities in South Carolina:Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Spartanburg, Greenville, Lexington towns, and Lancaster.Also to cover the following cities in North Carolina:
Pineville, Matthews, Lake Wylie, Indian Trail, Belmont, Gastonia, Ballantyne, and Mint Hill.Responsibilities:
  • Listen attentively, comprehend spoken language, and interpret it accurately in real-time.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in the source and target languages, demonstrating strong communication skills.
  • Establish rapport and maintain professional relationships with colleagues and clients through strong interpersonal skills.
  • Follow and adhere to HIPPA guidelines, laws, and the professional interpreters' Code of Ethics & Conduct.
  • Accept appointments on a flexible, as-needed basis and manage your own schedule.
  • Provide interpretation services on-site, through video remote interpreting (VRI), or by phone (OPI) when required.
  • Manage and Prioritize assignments and be punctual (on time) while delivering high-quality work.
Qualifications:To be based in upper South Carolina areas only.To be fully bilingual, including fluency in English.Have a high school certificate as a minimum level of education.Have a Green Card minimum (eligible to work in the US on your own), a clean driving record, driver's insurance, and own / have access to a reliable car.For ASL interpreters, South Carolina state licensure is required to perform the job.If you meet the qualifications above and enjoy meeting and helping new people, working at your own schedule, being challenged, and working at a diversity of locations, then we invite you to submit your resume/CV.Choice Translating Core Values:
