- Develop short and long-term strategic growth plans and prioritization for the product line.
- Understand the market landscape including identifying target customers and their unmet needs, understanding barriers to adoption and develop ideas to address, and understanding competitive situation to develop innovative and differentiated product roadmaps.
- Work with the marketing organization to develop strategic marketing and launch plans which achieve business goals. This will include product positioning and identifying specific target audience.
- Conduct product training to relevant sales and marketing teams globally.
- Set pricing strategy.
- Prepare and present quarterly Business Reviews to the management team.
- BS in a Biological Science required (MS, PhD preferred), MBA preferred
- Minimum of 3+ years of progressive experience working in the biotech or life sciences industry
- Relevant laboratory or technical experience preferred
- Working knowledge about scientific workflows in cell & gene therapy, immuno-oncology and neuroscience as well as the ability to gain in-depth knowledge.
- Outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively within the organization and to external customers include B-2-B relationships
- Ability to develop strategic long-term plans and tactics for revenue growth.
- Aptitude in product/customer/sales analysis for successful product launches and sales enablement strategies
- Interpersonal relationship skills, leadership skills and decisiveness to solicit key ideas and obtain alignment
- Ability to work independently and without direction to gain assistance from many in the organization without direct authority over those individuals to drive projects
- Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills to complete assignments in a timely, efficient manner
- Proficient in the use of computer applications and software that allow for analysis and presentation of data as well as productivity (i.e. Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com), as well as ability to become proficient in proprietary databases and ERP solutions
- Approximately 10% travel including international
