- Ensuring compliance with all building code and industry regulations
- Conducting regular project meetings
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholdersEssential job functions of the Traveling Superintendent include:
- Extensive knowledge of commercial construction techniques
- Self-motivation and confidence to lead on-site teams
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and other industry documents
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skillsThe ideal Traveling Superintendent will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the commercial construction industry. Salary for this position is competitive and will range from $105,000 to $140,000, depending on experience.
