
Master Plumber (ECM)

- Coordinate, install and inspect plumbing equipment including, but not limited to, faucets, lavatories, toilets, flush valves, sinks, water heaters, drinking fountains, domestic water heaters and boilers, backflow devices, and valves.
- Oversee and give constant correction and trainings to those staff, and their work, assigned to you during a project
- Install underground sanitary, drainage, and water supply piping systems
- Conduct the layout, assembly, and installation of pipe fixtures for water systems
- Cut pipes and transport to project locations where they are required
- Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes to required angles using measurement tools
- Utilize hand tools in fitting of valves, couplings and components for tanks, pumps or other plumbing system
- Dig trenches/install pipes and piping fixtures for water or sewage systems
- Immerse pipes in chemical solutions such as bleach and dispersants to remove oil, dirt, and scale
- Mount hangers and brackets on walls to provide support for pipes
- Ensure compliance with building codes and set safety standards
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.
- Ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition.
- Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting, climbing, etc.
- Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately.\
- Liaise with contractors, and other construction workers to ensure an effective plumbing system.

- High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
- Valid driver's license.
- Master Plumbing License
- Minimum five years of verifiable plumbing experience working in plumbing service & remodel field.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions including, but not limited to, safety policies and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write service reports.
- Ability to effectively present information to supervisors and/or customer.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems.
- Basic mathematical abilities in all units of measure
- Lifting frequently. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Standing for extended periods, up to 6 hours per day.
- Walking, continuously.
- Climbing ladders while carrying weight
- Wearing personal protective gear correctly including glasses, gloves, respirator, hard hat and other PPE required.
