Is responsible for planning standards reviews and setting strategy for company-wide programs/portfolios.ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and ExecutionProven experience in building integration implementation plans from disparate sources of information, aligned to strategy and goals of mergers and acquisitionsAbility to proactively identify dependencies, communicate and create mitigation plans to ensure successful execution of the integration planProviding active participation & representation within cross-functional Integration workstreamsManage transition between program phases and ensure deliverables have met and signed off according to establish standardsPlay an active role to manage risks, issues and mitigation and escalate where necessaryShare thought leadership to mature and create process efficiencies where neededCommunication and Stakeholder ManagementProvide leadership, coordination, and cross-functional communication to ensure achievement of objectives and timelinesCommunication and reporting within IT functional track, and cross-functionally as required through the Program ChannelsProvide leadership and actively participate on meetings, sending agendas, defining, and communicating meeting objectives, to ensure follow through, follow up and closure of critical action itemsEngagement with the appropriate stakeholders, to maintain alignment on programBuild relationships by creating trust through partnership and successful executionPresent to program steering committees making detailed, prioritized recommendations, facilitating discussions, and driving decision makingEnsure stakeholders understand the impact of changes introduced by the projectRisk & Issue ManagementPrepare and manage the project Risk Management PlanDevelop and maintain regular risk assessments and risk mitigations plansTimely escalation and resolution of complex project-level issuesResource and Budget ManagementForecast and track project budget and resource requirementsWork with the Portfolio Manager to ensure program initiatives are correctly resourced and fundedWork with the portfolio manager to resolve resource conflicts and budget mismatchesM&A ResponsibilitiesManage interfaces to enable requirement delivery for track with appropriate reviews and sign offSupport functional communication and change managementPrepare program level reporting decks and commentary as neededFacilitate interactions and communication between the engineering team and our business stakeholders, and vendorsCultural awareness and sensitivity in engagements and interactionsAbility to take on new task as requestedQualificationsA Bachelor or Master STEM Degree; Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical fieldA minimum of 7+ years of overall Program/Project Management with at least 3+ years of proven experience in Mergers and Acquisition Programs, managing multiple high performing multi-function teams requiredDemonstrated experience leading successful large, complex, high-value strategic technology M&A work, executing in an Agile and Hybrid environment requiredExperience using Project Management tools (Confluence, JIRA, Smartsheet etc.) requiredOther Professional qualifications, such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PMI-ACP (Agile Certified) requiredPrior experience must demonstrate the ability to work and drive clarity in a changing and ambiguous environmentStrong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills, demonstrated through delivery of large, complex acquisition programsPractical and hands-on approach to delivering outcomesExperience with building strong working relationships across teams and stakeholdersStrong executive presence and thought leadership to influence decisions to drive successful project outcomesDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, globally distributed environmentGreat communication and cross-team collaborationKnowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework, SAFe Certification a plusExpertise in one or more project management Agile methodologies desiredEquinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
