Ability to read and understand drawings
Starts and observes machine operation
Calculates and set controls to regulate machining factors
Process offset changes unassisted
Check parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices.
Verify conformance of completed work
Working on lathes such as Mori Seiki (NLX2500, NLX3000, NLX4000, NZX2000), Hitachi Seiki, Nakamura Tome, Haas TL-2Requirements:
Extensive machine shop/metal working skills
Possesses the ability to work with decimals
Comfortable working with close tolerances (thousandths)
Ability to set up your own jobs and run first part
Ability to adjust programs if required
