Suncore is searching for an experienced Asphalt Roller Operator to join our team in delivering top-quality paving projects. In this role, you’ll operate rollers safely, work closely with team members to meet compaction standards, and maintain equipment for peak performance. If you’re safety-focused, skilled with asphalt mixes, and dedicated to quality, Suncore offers a supportive environment where your expertise is valued.Things You’ll Do
- Operate the asphalt roller safely and efficiently.
- Work with screedman and paving foreman to complete a quality job and meet compaction requirements.
- Help team members with cleaning out the paver.
- Direct and teach laborers.
- Keep the roller greased, oiled, and perform minor repairs if needed using oilcans, grease gun or hand tools.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Experience rolling different types of asphalt mixes.
- Understand paving procedures.
- Attention and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
