- Monitoring and enforcement of technical changes and product measures (development orders, program items, change requests, change controls, deviation approvals)
- Implementation milestone responsibility for purchased parts of the BRUV and CPUP vehicles for assembly, body shop, paint
- Preparation and documentation of new parts meetings with the departments involved
- Supporting introduction of new Systems and processes within pre-series logistics / logistics
- Assist with review of technical documents, bill of materials entries and checking for plausibility and completeness. After coordination with technical development, initiate appropriate corrections in the source systems.
- Tracking of complaints from the "technical offices", JIT/ purchase parts areas and planning, as well as initiation and development of measures for solution and correction
- Manual correction of the Bill of materials in the event of missing or faulty BOM items
- Participation in specialist group meetings, including representation and justification of logistical concerns
- Support by testing vehicle BOM of planned pre-series vehicles (VFF, PVS, 0 series) against the technical logistical BOM
- Analyse vehicle-specific issues for pre-series vehicles
- This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, South Carolina.
- The responsibilities of this role require attendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
- 0-2 years of professional experience in logistics or production environment in a manufacturing industry; Automotive industry would be an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in the field of data management would be an advantage
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage complexity
- Collaborative team-player with strong interpersonal skills able to work at each hierarchical level of the company
- Understanding of Production environment and affinity to work with complex IT-Systems
- Proven experience with Power BI and data models would be advantage
