The Community Assistant on a property plays a key role in the Bear Village team by delivering a world-class customer experience to clients through marketing outreach, advertising, leasing, resident outreach, administrative duties, and resident loyalty events.ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct property tours to prospects and parents.
  • Recruit, coordinate, and lead focus groups.
  • Create loyalty programs that go above and beyond resident needs and improve resident retention through service.
  • Assist in the lease signing process, includes preparing lease paperwork.
  • Develop relationships with the university community and engage in various events, clubs, and meetings in order to network and brand the company.
  • Present at key events, clubs, meetings, etc. within designated arenas (i.e. Greek Life, Business fraternities, and student organizations).
  • Serve as an on-campus representative for Bear Village.
  • Use social media tools to increase exposure and gain brand awareness.
  • Provide "World Class Customer Service" to those that they interact with and serve daily.
  • Generate new ideas to problems or innovates around already established approaches.
  • Plan and organize tasks in an efficient productive manner.
  • Focus on assigned key priorities.
  • Exhibit attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
  • Use empathy to understand the needs of others and take action to meet clients' needs.
  • Look for ways to improve and promote quality performance.
  • Adjust quickly to changing priorities. Cope effectively with complexity. Flex around new ideas, processes, or environments.
  • Assist in branding the overall property through cutting-edge marketing campaigns and on-campus promotional events.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets, reports, surveys, and materials for the team.
  • Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & RELATED EXPERIENCE
  • A high School Diploma or equivalent GED is required.
  • A minimum of one year of administrative, advertising or marketing experience is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license
