Join our team.Position SummaryWe are seeking a Software Engineering Manager with a strong background in eCommerce to lead and elevate our digital commerce initiatives. This role requires an in-depth understanding of eCommerce business processes, including fulfillment, inventory management, integrations, tax configurations, and shipping workflows. Experience with Magento/Adobe Commerce is preferred. The ideal candidate will excel at identifying patterns, and implementing proactive solutions to improve platform stability and performance. With the ability to balance competing business requests against technical priorities, you will ensure that our eCommerce platform meets both immediate business needs and long-term scalability goals.Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Leads cross-functional teams that design, develop, and implement enterprise systems which includes managing the solution backlog by understanding customer needs, business value and strategic goals
  • Manages the continuous enhancement of the systems to meet changing business requirements by prioritizing features, user stories and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Clearly defines and communicates vision and strategy and is the liaison between the development team and the stakeholder.
  • Ensures solution monitoring, alerting and support plans are in place
  • Aligns plans to standards, supports target architectures, manages tech debt and ensures quality and compliance
  • Trains, develops, and assesses staff to ensure continuous growth through orientations, direction, and feedback
  • Recruits, interviews, and trains new staff
  • Makes hiring recommendations subject to the approval of the Director - Information Systems
  • Provides effective performance evaluations and staff recognition programs / awards
  • Coaches and counsels staff as needed
  • Makes recommendations on promotions and terminations of staff, takes appropriate action subject to the review and approval of the Director-Information Systems
Minimum Required QualificationsEducation:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
Years of Experience:
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in related field
  • 2 years supervisory experience

  • Bachelor's Level Degree
