
Wastewater Pump Specialist

- $44-55/hour, depending on experience + overtime opportunities. (If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we could request adjustments based on experience and market conditions)

- Diagnose, repair, and rebuild submersible and self-priming wastewater pumps in-shop and on-site.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical pump system failures efficiently and accurately.
- Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections.
- Read and interpret pump schematics, technical manuals, and performance curves.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain detailed service reports and repair documentation.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior technicians.
- Interact professionally with customers and represent the company in the field.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to inventory management protocols.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with wastewater pumps and related systems.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing Flygt, Barnes, Goulds, Gorman-Rupp, and Ebara pumps.
- Strong understanding of electrical motor systems and controls (single-phase and three-phase).
- Ability to operate various service tools including megohmmeters, laser alignment tools, and hydraulic jacks.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical work in confined spaces or field environments.
- Certification or technical training in pump systems, mechanics, or related field. (Preferred)
- Confined space entry and/or OSHA safety certifications.(Preferred)
- Prior experience in municipal or industrial wastewater treatment applications.(Preferred)
