
Senior Financial Analyst, AWS Applied AI Solutions Finance

- Support Amazon Connect Service P&Ls and influence business decisions that drive revenue and/or capital expenditures
- Leading critical processes such as Weekly Business Reviews, MFR and monitor financial and business health
- Take the lead in financial planning and analysis; build and maintain complex financial models and analytical tools to measure overall financial performance, including short and long range financial/operational forecasts, and communicate results to senior management
- Maintain controllership of the business: ensure all financial fundamentals are correct and accurate, such as billing, cost allocation, and financial presentation
- Analyze new business ideas, make analytical judgments, and provide data intensive analyses to drive meaningful changeA day in the life
-Working closely with business and GTM partners to monitor business growth; evaluating the financial impacts of new sales plays and feature launches, and other strategic decisions
-Leading the preparation and presentation of WBR with Connect VP and Solutions SVP
-Monitoring business performance on both top-line and bottom-line metrics, drafting MFR and leading financial reviews with the service's leadership teamAbout the team

Come work with us if you are a self-starter and you are interested in building 0-to-1.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, finance, or equivalentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- 4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience

The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
