(Contingent upon available funding):43,200.00 - 64,800.00, SalaryWork Schedule:Work schedule to be determined by supervisor.Faculty Appt Period:Job Summary:Oklahoma State University (OSU) Extension is accepting applications for a Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) multi-county educator. The successful candidate will provide expertise and educational leadership for health disparities programming, including development, implementation, and evaluation of programs in northwest Oklahoma. This position is located in an office strategically placed to reach selected counties within the assigned Extension District. This is a 12-month staff assignment over a multi-year grant period ending June, 2025.Responsibilities
*Develop and maintain comprehensive health disparities programming
*Conduct needs assessment and participate in evaluation efforts
*Provide leadership to county and district programs
*Work closely with other health disparities educators
*Maintain a close working relationship with state-level faculty, staff, district program specialists and administrators
Travel within the state to support and provide education (travel budget provided)

  • Demonstrated leadership ability in designing, promoting, presenting and evaluating educational programs and the desire to program to reach diverse audiences.
Preferred: Master's in Family and Consumer Sciences
  • Demonstrated expertise in Family and Consumer Sciences, Public Health, or closely related field and a minimum of two years of experience with similar projects
  • Previous experience in Cooperative Extension or closely related work is desirable.
