Pay: $38-50/hr
Location: Midland, TXKey Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, cranes, and other machinery.
- Troubleshoot and service complex hydraulic systems, pumps, cylinders, and valves.
- Conduct routine maintenance and preventative services according to equipment schedules.
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet job deadlines and customer expectations.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a heavy equipment mechanic.
- Strong expertise in hydraulic systems (troubleshooting, repair, replacement, and rebuilding).
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and service manuals.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and general mechanical repair.
- High school diploma or GED; technical certifications a plus.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environmental conditions.
- Certification in hydraulic systems or fluid power.
- Experience with brands such as CAT, John Deere, Case, or Cummings.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Must be local to Midland, TX
- Must have basic hand tools (Specialized tools will be provided)
- Ability to travel overnight up to 30%
