- Prepare the metal components by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying appropriate primers to ensure proper adhesion of coatings.
- Apply a wide range of coatings, including paints, enamels, epoxies, and sealants, using various methods such as spray, brush, and roller to achieve desired finishes and protective properties.
- Maintain and clean painting equipment, spray guns, brushes, rollers, and other tools, ensuring they are in excellent working condition for optimal results and safety.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ventilation.
- Other miscellaneous duties, as assigned
- Active and current driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Possess strong attention to detail.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in various height conditions or confined spaces.
- Strong work ethic, time management, and attention to detail.
- 1+ year experience working as an industrial painter or similar industry is preferred.
- Quality Focus: Pays meticulous attention to detail, consistently producing high-quality work that meets or exceeds established standards.
- Adaptability: Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
