• Under general supervision, specializes in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients.

• RIS: completes all study indexing and review clinical protocols with the Radiologist.
• Performs all documentation in the medical record and radiology information system.

• May work in the hospital or in an ambulatory Mobile Unit.
• May be potentially exposed to radiation, high-voltage equipment, and contagious patients.
• Occasionally may lift and/or move equipment and/or patients in excess of 10 lbs.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible.
• BLS certification required.
