The ASE Site Coordinator is responsible for ensuring program quality, including assisting in the implementation of activities, providing leadership and guidance to staff, and overseeing the ordering and distribution of snacks, materials, and all supplies needed to operate the program. This is a PT 2 position, benefits listed belowSUPERVISORY DUTIES:Supervise and ensure the safety of participants and staff at all timesProvide guidance to staff while onsite in adhering to program quality standardsServe as the on-site point person during emergency situations and ensure employees and participants follow procedures as documentedESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Implement and execute program activities with school-aged program staffSupervise snack time with participantsResponsible for maintaining daily attendance recordsAssist in daily participant arrival and departure proceduresMaintain a positive relationship with all employees, participants, parents, vendors, and volunteersCommunicate any site employee, participant, behavioral, or disciplinary problems to the Recreation SupervisorKeep assigned areas clean and sanitized as neededSupport the agency's risk management protocols and safety initiativesPromptly report any safety hazards, incidents, or injuries to the appropriate staffAbility to maintain and support high-quality programsAbility to make effective decisions and communicate well with fellow team members, parents, and participantsSupport safety protocols and attend required training sessionsActively contribute to the Park District's sustainability goalsPerform other related duties as assigned, based on agency needsSAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:Actively support the safety program that will effectively control and reduce accidentsObey the practical safety rules, regulations, and procedures established by the Wilmette Park District safety program that are pertinent to the activities conducted by the departmentBecome familiar with and follow the safety procedures of the Wilmette Park District, including, but not limited to, fire, severe weather, and evacuation proceduresPromptly report all unsafe actions, practices, or conditions observed to the immediate supervisor, Human Resources/Risk Management divisionAttend and participate in required safety trainingQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
