Location: East African Healing Services, 5775 Wayzata Blvd, Ste 700, Golden Valley, MN 55416 (with travel as needed)Position Summary
The Mental Health Professional/Clinical Supervisor provides leadership, training, compliance oversight, and quality control for the EAHS ARMHS Program in accordance with Minnesota DHS regulations. This position directly supervises 4–6 ARMHS practitioners and other clinical trainees, ensuring services are recovery-oriented, culturally responsive, and meet DHS requirements.Essential ResponsibilitiesProvide individual and group supervision to mental health professionals, RN medication educators, and ARMHS practitionersConduct and/or oversee orientation for new staffComplete or oversee annual performance evaluationsOffer consultation and crisis backup to staffGuide staff in using community resources effectivelyMonitor charts for required documentationCoordinate client coverage during staff absencesOrganize clinical training and continuing educationOversee admissions, staff assignments, and dischargesProvide input on annual ARMHS program budget projectionsEnsure compliance with DHS certification requirements and grant obligationsParticipate in management meetingsReview and approve ARMHS documentation, including FA, Interpretive Summary, ITP, LOCUS, MHIS forms, progress notes, and community intervention notesMonitor HIPAA complianceRepresent EAHS professionally in the communityQualificationsMaster's degree in a behavioral health fieldMinnesota licensure: LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP (in good standing)Minimum 2 years post-licensure providing ARMHS or ACT servicesMinimum 3 years supervisory or team lead experience in mental health servicesUnderstanding of recovery-oriented, community-based servicesPreferred:Experience supervising culturally diverse staff and serving diverse populationsKnowledge of Procentive or similar EHR systemsCultural and Linguistic CompetencyCompensationDOQ, CompetitiveMileage reimbursement for community visitsPaid training and continuing educationApplication Process
