
Materials Supervisor

- Act as the specific subject matter expert (SME) and owner of the documented process.
- Identify opportunities to improve accuracy and the overall process.
- Work closely with the operations manager to identify, report and solve problems.
- Implement workforce optimization and time motion analytics to achieve/exceed targets.
- Optimize and organize warehouse based on point of use and volume.
- Drive “Plan for Every Part” transformation and mentality.
- Communicate clear instructions to team members.
- Train team members in accordance with company guidelines on assembly procedures.
- Create and maintain hourly/daily/weekly/monthly metrics and report daily on the same.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- APICS Certification a must
- 3 years of relevant work experience in warehouse or operational leadership
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to drive cohesion and collaboration among many different people & functions
- Confidence, presence, and credibility to command the respect of colleagues and senior stakeholders, especially within operational departments
- Adaptable / Flexible - being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances
- Organizational skills, with ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and MRP system
- Capable of wearing task specific personal protective equipment which may include dust mask, air purifying respirator (i.e., half and/or full faced), safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection.
- Capable of meeting OSHA standards for manual lifting guidelines:
- While performing the duties of this job it is required to stand, walk, and use hands to operate objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands or arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch when necessary for job activity.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures.
