A few daily tasks may include:
Experience with transfers (hoyer, gait, slide, etc.)
Experience with Heart Monitor/Pace Maker
Preparing/cleaning up after a meal
Bathing/personal care/toileting
Basic home chores (sweeping, mopping, dusting)
Laundry
Providing companionship
Running Errands
Requirements
Be at least 18 years of age
At least 2+ years of related caregiving experience. (It can be personal or professional!)
Valid Driver’s License
Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
Ability to pass a drug test
Ability to pass a background check
Ability to lift 50 LBS
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
WORK SCHEDULE FOR A CAREGIVERThis companionship and caregiving position has flexible scheduling with day and night shifts available. Clients may receive as little as 4 hours of care, while others require 24-hour care.
